The Douglas County Library is located in downtown Alexandria, Minnesota. It is part of the Viking Library System, which is a federated regional public library system serving the six west central Minnesota counties of Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens and Traverse.
Our Mission
The mission of the Douglas County Library is to provide equal access to resources and facilities that meet informational, recreational, and cultural needs of all its citizens. The Douglas County Library upholds the rights of intellectual freedom, the right to know, and access to information.
